While social enterprises and mission-driven organisations have unique elements, many share similar objectives or aims. Here, we look at some common objectives and provide examples of indicators that can show an organisation’s effect on people, communities, the environment, or the economy.
In this ‘bank’ of sample indicators you’ll find:
- A goal or objective that social enterprises pursue.
- Ways to indicate that these goals are being met, or to show that you are on your way to meeting the objective or goal.
Remember: Ideally, deciding which indicators are useful to your organisation should be a group exercise done through discussions with your colleagues and board or through a wider stakeholder consultation with your target group or your funders.
