The Sustainability Development Unit (SDU) was funded by, and accountable to, NHS England and Public Health England. NEF Consulting worked with them to identify some real life examples of projects across the NHS, public health and social care system helping to build a sustainable healthcare system and show – when scaled up – the potential financial, environmental and health benefits they could offer.
The main purpose of the “Healthy Returns” project was to find interesting and relevant stories from a series of case-studies and to present them in a clear and engaging way. See image below or download the SDU Healthy Returns infographic.
