Helen works with NEF Consulting on  supporting local authorities, CCGs and voluntary sector organisations to rethink the role of citizens in the commissioning and delivering of public services. She leads on our training on outcomes-based commissioning and co-production.

Helen started her career in the homeless sector, working directly with young people and then with adult drug and alcohol users. She became a commissioner at Lambeth Council as Lambeth developed its approach to co-operative commissioning and played a major role in helping to transform Children Services using outcomes-based commissioning, alliancing and co-production principles.
