Manuela is an analyst with a background in economics. She has applied quantitative analysis to inform policy decisions, as well as conducting qualitative research through public surveys and interviews.

She previously worked at the Bank of England in the International Monetary division and as a policy analyst with a focus on payments. While at the Bank she played a central role producing and delivering a public consultation process on the new settlement payment system, conducted cost-benefit analyses, and set up an external advisory panel.

Manuela spent time as a field coordinator for a charity that runs a community centre for refugees on the Greek island of Leros. She is fluent in Spanish and is working hard to improve her Arabic.

Manuela earned her BSc in Economics at the University of Bath.
