David leads NEF’s work on local transformation within our Local Economies Unit. He previously worked as both a consultant and policy researcher in the built environment and local economic development fields for over 10 years. He has extensive experience advising local and central government, including combined authorities and City Deals, in the development of strategies and initiatives to improve sustainable economic outcomes for areas across the UK.
NEF aims to create a new economy that works for people and within environmental limits. We are guided by three missions:
